Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is searching for a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our team! 
 
This position will be responsible for supporting the company's financial planning and analysis activities, providing key insights to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, FP&A.

Location

This is a remote role and candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S. For this position, there is a preference to hire in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts to identify trends and potential risks or opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying variances, trends, and potential areas of improvement and provide actionable insights to support management's decision-making processes
  • Prepare and distribute timely and accurate monthly financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators, budget variances, and other relevant metrics.
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives and evaluate the financial impact of different scenarios and present findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to support their operational and strategic objectives
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the use of technology and data analytics in financial analysis and reporting

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Master's degree or progress toward a professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an FP&A role
  • SaaS experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Experience in financial planning software like Vena, Planful, and Adaptive Insights
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and VBA
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting processes, and variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel for meetings or trainings

Salary Disclosure

Base Salary range: $90,000-$100,000
 
This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. DCN’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
