Description

The Product Manager dedicated to the Dodge Sweets and IMS teams will lead the product management and operations activities to define, develop, and deliver market-leading construction marketplace solutions. This role requires a combination of skills, including the ability to articulate market requirements, understand key stakeholder positions, and collaborate among departments to improve product offerings and streamline workflows to increase efficient delivery of services and data to our customers.

 

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Technical Product Management.

 

Preferred Location

This is a full-time, remote, home-office based role. Candidates located in the continental United States will be considered, with a strong preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.

 

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is up to 20% for this role.

 

Essential Functions

  • Lead and align cross-functional teams and individuals by fostering shared understanding, providing context, influence, and trust
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand the business needs of building product manufacturers, architects, engineers, and other construction market participants, driving clarity around the “why” behind key initiatives and desired outcomes
  • Create and execute a high-value product roadmap for Sweets and IMS products that solves key market needs, aligns with business priorities, and maximizes customer value
  • Facilitate collaboration with development teams to prioritize and plan the product backlog, owning and ensuring the successful execution of high-impact initiatives while balancing value vs effort/cost
  • Use data to inform prioritization, drive results for product KPIs, and assess the success of initiatives
  • Position assigned Dodge products by articulating the value delivered to customers, supporting sales enablement efforts and educating the sales team on the benefits and capabilities of the solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional internal teams to support product delivery, foster alignment, and increase overall team effectiveness
  • Manage the launch of new capabilities by coordinating activities across teams and ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Drive consensus on solution strategies through monthly steering committee meetings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities with other market participants that enhance customer value and expand our market reach
  • Identify potential cross-sell opportunities between Dodge products, enhancing overall value and engagement across the product suite
  • Accountable for ensuring that all initiatives have clear success criteria, are delivered within scope, and meet business objectives

 

Education Requirement

  • College degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, preferably working with building product and/or construction project information
  • 3+ years effectively leading empowered agile delivery/product/development teams, in a CI/CD rapid delivery, test and learn environments, without direct reports
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders as well as directly with customers/users leading voice of the customer/user work
  • Experience with Product Management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Effective written, presentation, and verbal communications skills for any level of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead products, programs, and projects from strategic vision creation to tactical implementation and design at the strategy, KPIs, roadmap, GTM, and story levels

 

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with Dodge Construction Network products and services
  • Understanding of Salesforce and its integration with internal systems to support the sales process and product delivery lifecycle
  • Product management certifications such as Pragmatic Marketing or Agile PO/CSPO are a plus
  • Understanding of the construction industry in the pre-construction process for assessing and pursuing projects from the perspective of an architect or engineer a plus

Salary Disclosure

Annual Base Salary range: $135,000-$145,000

 

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
