Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is searching for a Market Research Analyst to work closely with our Principia Consulting Advisory Team.
 
The Market Research Analyst is a key role within the organization with responsibility for assisting in the development and implementation of Principia’s primary research efforts for consulting engagements and syndicated reports. The Market Research Analyst will assist with survey design, programming, implementation, and analysis, while contributing to final reporting and client deliverables. 
 
The Market Research Analyst’s objective is to assist research and consulting professionals wherever needed during the research function, resulting with the desired actionable insights for our clients.
 
This position reports directly to the Vice President, Research.
 
Location
This is a remote role with the flexibility to work from any location within the United States. There is a preference for candidates in the Central and Eastern time zones.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, and program quantitative and qualitative research questionnaires, both consumer and business-to-business 
  • Thorough testing of all research vehicles prior to launch to insure smooth implementation into the field
  • Sample design and procurement
  • Developing and/or maintaining research vendor relationships (list suppliers, call centers, online panels, specialized outside consultants)
  • Proactively and collaboratively work with Principia’s delivery team to analyze survey results to ensure most impactful and meaningful statistics are reported and communicated
  • Provide input and leadership in constantly and continually improving the research process
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Preference given to, relevant work experience in a Building Materials and/or Construction related business
  • Strong work ethic and can-do mentality
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks
  • Collaborative team player
  • Thorough understanding of primary market research function, with an emphasis on detailed questionnaire design incorporating complex skip and piping logic
  • During the questionnaire design process, ability to foresee how survey results will be analyzed to produce actionable insights post fielding
  • Survey analysis, including tabulating and synthesizing data for final reporting
  • Survey programming (knowledge of Qualtrics a plus, but not a requirement)
  • Survey analysis (knowledge of Tableau a plus, but not a requirement)

Salary Disclosure
Base Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000
 
This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. DCN’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
