Strategic Account Manager
Description
Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to manage large, complex accounts, identify areas of growth, and expand revenue within existing accounts.
In this role, you are solely responsible for expanding the relationship and related revenue within an established set of accounts. The Strategic Account Manager takes a consultative approach to identify and pursue the right prospects and decision makers. Successful candidates have a long-term track record of maintaining and generating revenue.
This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise Sales.
Preferred Location
- This is a remote, home-office role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered
- For this position, there is a preference to hire candidates located in the Denver, CO or Kansas City, MO areas
Travel Requirements
Expected travel is 40-50% for this role
Essential Functions
- Identify the business units within client base with the greatest need for Dodge’s insights and network, and open doors with the right decision makers
- Assess the client’s needs and ongoing go-to-market strategies and processes and identify areas in which Dodge can help increase their effectiveness
- Present integrated solutions based on the appropriate Dodge products and services
- Display consultative and solution selling skills to successfully represent products and services to prospects through demonstrations of our software solutions
- Build and manage a strong expansion revenue pipeline to achieve assigned sales goals and forecasts
- Maintain interactions through records management as directed in specified CRM system including demonstrating effective utilization of all appropriate systems for information capture and reporting
- Provide management with timely and accurate reports, as required, and maintain CRM database of contacts and opportunities
- Represent Dodge professionally in all interactions
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- 5+ years successful track record of consultative and solution selling skills to successfully represent products and services to prospects through online demonstrations of our software solutions
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and growth goals by expanding revenue within existing accounts
- Proficiency in Salesforce, including solid understanding of CRM and order management functionality and accurate forecasting
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (such as Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience leading presentations utilizing Teams, Webex, and other similar webinar tools
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including influence, persuasion, and group presentations
Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- A self-starter who is intuitive, curious, confident, tenacious, and bold in pursuing opportunities and growing revenue
- Keen sense of attention to detail, service, and identifying opportunities
- Knowledge of commercial construction is desirable
