VP, Demand Generation
Description
We are seeking a VP, Demand Generation to own the strategy and execution of all demand generation initiatives across paid search, other paid media, events, webinars, email, and multi-channel programs for our SMB and Enterprise customer segments.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and partnering closely with commercial leaders and RevOps, this role will be accountable for scaling our existing demand engine to accelerate pipeline and ARR growth.
The VP will demonstrate hands-on skills related to analytics/KPIs and marketing/ sales technologies and workflows. They will also enhance, review, share and learn from KPIs related to demand-gen performance, with an eye to understanding and optimizing ROAS and CAC/LTV by customer type and campaign channel. Finally, they will partner closely with other members of the marketing team in terms of analytics, technology, content, design and SEO.
Preferred Location and Expected Work Hours
- This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered.

Essential Functions
Demand Strategy and Execution
- Define the demand generation strategy aligned to budgeted ARR and New Business targets and go-to-market plans for the SMB and Enterprise New Business teams.
- Lead the design and execution of integrated, multi-channel campaigns spanning SEM, paid search, webinars, events, and email to drive lead and opportunity pipeline. The immediate goals are optimizing paid search spend, identifying new types of paid media, assessing the effectiveness of sponsored events, and implementing a lead nurturing program.
- Ensure optimal functioning, effectiveness and tracking of paid and organic landing pages.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Finance to ensure alignment on funnel goals, campaign execution, and revenue outcomes.
Performance Analytics
- Develop pipeline and financial KPIs for marketing spend programs which can be easily shared with and understood by commercial and executive leaders.
- Develop and implement an attribution process to ensure robust understanding of key contributors to funnel outcomes.
- Continuously test, analyze, and refine demand generation tactics to maximize ROAS/ROMI.
- Own website performance: Drive conversion strategy and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) across company-managed websites and landing pages.
Team and Vendor/Agency Management
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing in-house support team.
- Oversee, evaluate, and enhance the effectiveness of current and potential agency partners.
Tools / Systems
- Partner with MarTech to optimize use of existing tools (e.g., UnBounce, Pardot).
- Identify and evaluate new potential tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing demand generation team.
- Establish a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to expand demand generation capacity and capability.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing demand generation.
- Proven success building and scaling demand generation functions that deliver significant pipeline and ARR contributions.
- Deep expertise in SEM, paid media, digital events, webinars, and email marketing within a B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong command of marketing automation (Marketo, HubSpot), CRM systems (Salesforce), and attribution models.
- Data-driven leader with excellent strategic, analytical, and financial acumen.
- Inspirational leader with a track record of building high-performance teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level.

Salary Disclosure
Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
