About the Position

Classification: Non-Exempt 

Location: Lowell, MA

Rate: $15-18/Hr. DOE

The Scope of Work below is a description of the duties and responsibilities a Contractor can be asked to perform in the capacity of Ambassador.  They are to be used as guidelines and are subject to change depending on campaign assigned at the time of engagement.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Memorize and recite outreach scripts and statements prepared and provided by ASG
  • Ability to plan events
  •  Go door-to-door and at times make phone calls to have conversations with community members learning reasons for hesitancy, and book vaccination appointments for community members
  • Develop and demonstrate a strong knowledge of designated marketing campaigns and corresponding talking points
  • Confidently answer community member questions and rebuff misinformation
  • Consistently meet daily and weekly quotas for outreach contacts and attempts
  • Accurately record outreach data on time as determined by campaign lead
  • Understand and follow COVID-19 safety protocol and always serve as a role model for safe behavior
  • Serve as greeter at events when required 
  • Welcome guests at events 
  • Give information on vaccination process
  • Help people fill out forms 
  • Ensure proper social distancing 
  • Help with set-up and break-down of event 
  • Help collect data as appropriate
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and interpersonal skills 
  • Access to a smartphone for canvassing/calling and recording data
  • Canvassing experience preferred but not required 
  • Access to transportation to canvassing communities (within the New England Area)
  • Ability to work within a team and independently based on Company requirements
  • Suitable time management skills to fulfill quotas within a specific period
  • Must have physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, meeting and talking to people
  • Individuals who speak languages other than English and/or who come from multicultural backgrounds are strongly preferred 


  • $15-18/Hr. DOE

An Ambassador must be able to drive, walk and stand for long periods and routinely talk to people about the vaccine campaign. They require a working knowledge of GPS software, maps, and other navigational tools. Ambassadors will also have to become fluent with canvassing software such as MiniVAN or Ecanvasser and understand how to log hours on Gusto online.
