About the Position

Discover Hope is looking for an experienced business leader to join our team as the Director of Operations and Business Strategy. The Director of Operations and Business Strategy is responsible for the organization's day to day operating activities. You’ll provide leadership to the strategic planning process, have the ability to lead & think at a cross-functional level and be a business builder with an execution focus. Your strategies will successfully grow and guide the company into its next chapter.

  • Collaborate with the owner/founder in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy
  • Full P/L responsibility for the company
  • Determine the most valuable metrics to measure company success and measure, analyze, and share with appropriate parties
  • Develop the business strategy and work with the leadership team to develop short/long-term objectives for the company
  • Supervise financial reporting and department budgets
  • Oversee and coach the Operations team to ensure compliance and efficiency is maintained across all operational processes
  • Drive our mission and company values at every level, everyday!

About You

You're a leader that is passionate about excellence and strives to meet business needs. You’re looking to make a difference in a business that keeps growing while still putting its people first. You have the following: 

  • MBA or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a leadership role: you have a demonstrated ability to lead leaders and take ownership for high-level decisions; you can multitask with the best of them and understand the importance of delegating 
  • Experience in a hands-on people management role: corporate strategy, business operations or business leadership
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
  • Strong background in healthcare management/administration is a plus!

Our employees are currently working remotely, but we expect to return to the office as soon as it's safe to do so.
