YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Bayer Crop Science's digital farming arm, we advance regenerative agriculture and technology breakthroughs using the latest agronomic science, data science, engineering, and real-world farming experience. With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in ag.
As a Global Brand and Product Marketing expert for Climate FieldView, you will lead the strategic development and execution of our brand vision while driving product marketing initiatives across diverse markets. Your focus on innovation and market differentiation will empower cross-functional and self-managed teams to elevate brand presence and enhance product engagement on a global scale. Leveraging customer insights and market trends, you will create impactful campaigns that ensure brand consistency while adapting to local nuances. By collaborating closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams, you will cultivate strong partnerships that enhance brand equity, drive product adoption, and foster long-term customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Brand Strategy Development: Drive the creation and execution of a brand strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends. Define unique brand positioning that differentiates Climate from competitors, ensuring consistency through collaboration with product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Product Marketing Development: Drive product marketing strategies to enhance market adoption and customer engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Leverage market insights and customer feedback to refine offerings and strengthen competitive differentiation, fostering growth and brand loyalty.
- Market Research: Lead and leverage market research initiatives to inform and refine global marketing objectives, ensuring alignment with regional customer needs and preferences. Utilize insights to enhance strategy and drive targeted marketing efforts across diverse markets.
- Website Asset Management: Oversee and maintain all website assets to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and messaging. Collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams to update content, visuals, and functionality. Regularly audit website assets to optimize user experience, enhance brand visibility, and ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Agency and Budget Management: Lead relationships with external agencies, ensuring deliverables align with brand objectives and quality standards. Oversee budgeting for campaigns, negotiating contracts, tracking expenditures, and optimizing resources to maximize ROI. Regularly review agency performance and budget allocations, making data-driven adjustments to meet business goals and maintain cost efficiency.
- Ecosystem Support: Collaborate with partner apps to enhance their visibility and success within our product ecosystem. Provide strategic marketing guidance, including co-marketing initiatives, content creation, and campaign execution, to ensure strong alignment with our brand and maximize user engagement. Foster ongoing partnerships to drive growth and elevate the value of the ecosystem for both users and partners.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, product development, regional marketing, and other key stakeholders, to ensure the successful global launch of new features and products. Foster strong partnerships across departments to drive alignment, optimize strategies, and maximize the impact of product rollouts on a worldwide scale.
- Hands-on Leadership: Actively engage in both strategic direction and execution by collaborating with team members on key initiatives. This leader demonstrates a commitment to rolling up their sleeves and contributing to staff-level tasks, from developing marketing materials to analyzing campaign performance. By staying involved in day-to-day operations, they ensure alignment with overall brand strategy while fostering a collaborative team environment that drives results.
WHO YOU ARE
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in brand management and product marketing, including experience leading global marketing campaigns.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and driving global marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with marketing analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of global markets and the ability to tailor strategies for different regions.
- Ability to manage budgets and demonstrate ROI on marketing initiatives.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, content marketing, and social media.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, focused on driving growth and innovation.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry and its unique market dynamics.
- Proficient in market research analysis to assess trends, monitor competitors, and understand customer needs.
- Strong data analytics skills for developing and evaluating marketing plans.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute integrated marketing communication strategies.
- Comprehensive experience in developing and managing brand marketing engagement and communication strategies for trade and grower audiences.
WHAT WE OFFER
Base salary estimated range between $190-260k annually, depending on the hiring location. You may also be offered bonuses, RSUs cash equivalent, or commission.
