POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide administrative & systems support services to the Supply Chain team including, but not limited to, data reconciliation, Materials Management Information System maintenance, preparing reports, proofreading, maintaining files, and conducting special projects as assigned.

 

POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS­:

  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Hospital/healthcare experience preferred
  • Evidence of organization, multi-tasking, and strong analytical capabilities
  • Adaptable and sensitive to cultural and bilingual environments
  • Strong communication, project management, and critical thinking skills
  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams and provide project management support
  • Adaptable to systems and software
  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of ambiguity and to work with a flexible, dynamic schedule
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required

 

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE­:

  • 2 – 3 years of professional experience in strategic planning, capital purchasing, financial analysis, ore relative experience
  • Knowledge of word processing tools, spreadsheets, and relative applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Excellent application of problem-analysis, quantitative analytical approaches, and research reporting
  • Exceptional Excel skills required

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with hospital stakeholders to build strategic and business cases relative to capital purchases and respective agreements
  • Prepare analysis models to project strategic initiative feasibility and action-planning
  • Assist leadership with strategic decision-making, including presentations, meeting administration, and high-level strategy documents
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounting & Finance regarding purchasing schedule and agreements for capital expenses
  • Serve as liaison between Supply Chain and Hospital regarding capital expenditures, and implement communication strategy for follow-through
  • Own project deliverables, timelines, and success criteria, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis assigned to Supply Chain
  • Other duties as assigned
