Description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Warehouse Drivers make pick-ups as necessary, perform general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Experience with driving a box truck and clean driving record is required.

 Qualifications:

• Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.
• Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record.
• Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
• Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations.
• Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
• Provide assistance to warehouse associates as needed.
• Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
• Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories for various branch locations.

 Experience and Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience driving a box truck is a must!
• Customer service experience as relates to deliveries and pickups.
• General warehouse experience including picking/packing, receiving, inventory, shipping and related paperwork, forklift & pallet jack operation, and basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to work independently and as a productive team member.
