JOB SUMMARY

 

As an Inventory Order Puller, you will locate and pull all items for customer orders from designated bin locations in warehouse and stage them in shipping area for outbound delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

 

          Pull items for customer orders and place items and order on shipping cart with information easily accessible for scanning

          Double check orders to ensure accuracy of part numbers, colors and other order specifications

          Maintain clean and organized bins and aisles for accurate location of supplies

          Have work area prepped for next day 30 minutes before shift ends.

          Adherence to all safety processes and policies.

          Perform other duties as assigned.

MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

 

          Typically reports to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

          Job is not directly responsible for managing employee(s): (e.g. hiring/terminations and pay decisions, performance management).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

 

          Strong attention to detail required to verify details and accuracy of order pulls and preparation.

          Exceptional organizational skills.

          Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

          Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

          Commitment to quality and efficiency in all tasks.

          Ability to obtain all job certifications to perform duties, including forklift and hand jack.

          Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and operating procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

          High School Diploma or GED preferred.

          Basic computer literacy, experience with inventory systems a plus.

          Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, such as E-automate.

          Experience with warehouse processes, including pulling inventory to customer order specifications, preferred.

          Forklift and hand jack experience preferred.

          Knowledge of security and safety practices in handling packages and cargo preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

          Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.

          Ambient temperature warehouse or climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.  Must be able to work in inclement weather as needed.
