The National Support Technician is a pivotal role within DEX Imaging, offering an extraordinary opportunity for seasoned service personnel to exhibit their skills in various customer settings while embracing the adventure of travel. This position bridges the service gap in diverse regions, ensuring customers receive exceptional installation and service support.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide expert installation and service support across different regions as per customer requirements.
- Maintain flexibility to travel and adapt to new environments, delivering high-quality service in varying customer settings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Submit monthly reports detailing work progress, challenges encountered, and the impact of service provided.
- Participate in an annual evaluation to contribute to the program's continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Proven experience in technical service fields, preferably within the copier industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different work environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Must be willing to travel extensively as per program requirements.

Working conditions
The National Support Technician role is dynamic and requires extensive travel to various regions, adapting to diverse customer environments. Technicians will face varying work schedules based on customer needs, project scope, and availability, including potential for irregular hours. This position involves both indoor and outdoor work settings, demanding physical activities such as standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, and navigating different weather conditions. Physical requirements
The National Support Technician role is physically demanding, requiring the following:
- Strength and Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Stamina to stand and work for extended periods.
- Mobility: Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and working in tight spaces. Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights as necessary.
- Manual Dexterity: Skilled use of tools and equipment for installation and repair tasks. Precision in handling small components and fine assembly work.
- Vision and Hearing: Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for detailed technical work; adequate hearing to diagnose equipment issues.
- Adaptability: Preparedness to work in various environments, from clean office settings to outdoor sites in differing weather conditions.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m.
Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
