JOB SUMMARY |
As an Inventory Order Puller, you will locate and pull all items for customer orders from designated bin locations in warehouse and stage them in shipping area for outbound delivery. |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. |
• Pull items for customer orders and place items and order on shipping cart with information easily accessible for scanning • Double check orders to ensure accuracy of part numbers, colors and other order specifications • Maintain clean and organized bins and aisles for accurate location of supplies • Have work area prepped for next day 30 minutes before shift ends. • Adherence to all safety processes and policies. • Perform other duties as assigned. |
MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY |
• Typically reports to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. • Job is not directly responsible for managing employee(s): (e.g. hiring/terminations and pay decisions, performance management). |
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS |
• Strong attention to detail required to verify details and accuracy of order pulls and preparation. • Exceptional organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Commitment to quality and efficiency in all tasks. • Ability to obtain all job certifications to perform duties, including forklift and hand jack. • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and operating procedures. |
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS |
• High School Diploma or GED preferred. • Basic computer literacy, experience with inventory systems a plus. • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, such as E-automate. • Experience with warehouse processes, including pulling inventory to customer order specifications, preferred. • Forklift and hand jack experience preferred. • Knowledge of security and safety practices in handling packages and cargo preferred. |
WORKING CONDITIONS |
• Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required. • Ambient temperature warehouse or climate controlled office environment during normal business hours. Must be able to work in inclement weather as needed. |
