The MPS Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving new business and expanding existing client relationships by delivering Managed Print Services, A3 multifunction devices, A4 printers, and supporting print software solutions. This role focuses on helping organizations optimize their print
environments through strategic assessments, consultative selling, and customized MPS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new Managed Print Services (MPS), A3 MFP, and A4 printer opportunities within both new and existing accounts.
- Conduct joint customer sales calls with Staples representatives to present and close MPS and hardware solutions.
- Lead MPS assessments, analyze print environments, and develop strategic proposals for clients.
- Define MPS strategies and total cost of ownership (TCO) models tailored to each customer’s business needs.
- Meet and exceed revenue, profit, and sales activity targets.
- Manage ongoing account relationships, including business reviews and client engagement initiatives.
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert on Managed Print Services, print hardware, and copier solutions.

- Interest and aptitude for technology-driven sales environments
- Proven ability to build relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and business owners
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in outside B2B sales, ideally within document imaging, office technology, or related technology solutions
- Strong presentation skills across multiple audiences including IT departments, executive leadership, purchasing teams, and end users
- Ability to analyze customer environments and articulate cost savings and operational improvements
- Experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25–30% within the assigned region
Education & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience selling Managed Print Services, copiers, or MFP solutions preferred
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development
