JOB SUMMARY
 
The Area Service Manager serves an intermediary position between Service Manager and Regional Service Director is to assist the Regional in the day-to-day operations of the region to insure repeatability in leadership and to develop the future Regional directors needed for replacement and expansion. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
·         To ensure all policies, procedures and corporate goals are upheld for his service dept. 
·         To attract, train, and retain quality new employees to DEX Imaging.  
·         Provide a positive, fair and productive work environment for his staff . 
·         To fully support the sales dept. with customer requests, customer issues, and pricing requests  
·         Maintain a service workforce that provides and exceptional level of customer service while maintaining Corp. staffing goals.  
·          Develop his staff for future needs within the DEX organization through training, and mentorship  
·          Preform any needed disciplinary tasks within his team  
·         Maintain and excellent level of communication and cooperation with all internal departments and other members of the service team  
·         Build and maintain Vendor relationships and partnerships.  
·         Problem solve on a branch level to eliminate repetitive policy or procedural issues 
·         Manage the perception of the Dex customer base to ensure an outstanding service experience. Beyond maintaining the standards of his assigned home branch.  
MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
 
·         Will assist other managers within the region with procedural, performance, or personnel issues.  
·         This can include travel to those supported branches.  
·         Will assist the Regional Service Director in monitoring and maintaining the home region.  
·         Will assist the Regional Service Director in policy and project initiatives.  
·          Oversight on all service operations within the region, ie; parts, shop, delivery and installation. 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 
 
Will assist other managers within the region with procedural, performance, or personnel issues. This can include travel to those supported branches. *Will assist the Regional Service Director in monitoring and maintaining the home region. * Will assist the Regional Service Director in policy and project initiatives. * Oversight on all service operations within the region, ie; parts, shop, delivery and installation.
