MISSION

Devialet is seeking an Account Manager supporting CI & B2B for the Americas, ideally with a background in the audio industry to manage relationships with our partners.

Reporting to the Sales & Operations Director, the Account Manager directly oversees our Custom Installation network and B2B opportunities. The Account Manager is accountable for financial oversight, sales and initiatives and contributes to marketing strategy to support sales within their respective channel.

The Account Manager is directly responsible for developing business opportunities through the channel he/she manages directly. Interacting at high levels with both Internal Departments and External Partners is essential. Having an established network of business relationships is preferred, as the Account Manager will be expected to uncover new business opportunities across the network.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of the given region with 360° project management and P&L / budget ownership.
  • Draft Custom Installation & B2B forecasts and work towards agreed KPIs.
  • Foster productive working relationships, and build brand presence with strategic distribution partners in the residential and commercial space.
  • Grow direct business with Custom Installation partners, prioritizing those with premium showrooms.
  • Act as technical lead to support specialty projects across all channels of sale.
  • Conduct technical product and brand training to promote brand knowledge and advocacy.
  • Establish a robust geographical strategic Custom Installation Partners concentrated in strategic markets.
  • Identify, prospect and convert new opportunities for the business, develop new business and ensure profitability.
  • Regularly meet with partners to manage accounts, deliver sales and technical training, build lasting relationships.
  • Proactively grow and maximize sales potential in the B2B channel through premium-luxury gifting, incentive business, credit card rewards, loyalty programs, hospitality distribution and other specialty projects.
  • Take ownership, understand market trends, and act as the main point of contact in the region for all premium incentive requests and initiatives.
  • Establish a sustainable revenue stream through a recurring contractual relationship with corporate gifting and incentive businesses, always prioritizing brand & product positioning.
  • Demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Utilize sales data to manage, develop, and serve existing partners and prospective partners
  • Develop and submit weekly, monthly or quarterly performance and progress reports to the Sales Director.
  • Ensure that all aspects of Devialet  Custom Installation business operates smoothly.
  • Proficiency on Salesforce, Microsoft and Apple tools, Google online tools.

PROFILE  

Problem-Solving – Account manager must be able to identify performance issues and propose. The ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, as well as the ability to process information clearly, is vital to this role

Requires Travel -
~30% US & Canada travel expected for the position 

Leadership – Account manager must be able to motivate colleagues and teams to work towards shared sales targets and strategies, strong leadership skills are a must

Customer Focus – A large part of the Account Manager’s job is to build relationships with partners and put the client at the forefront of their strategies and plans. Previous experience in a customer-focused role is required for the job

Computer Skills – This role requires the ability to utilize data sheets and produce presentations, so Account Manager must be able to use computer software to do this effectively

Numeracy Skills – Account Managers regularly analyze data and sales reports, strong numerical skills are essential. 

Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Must have at least 4+ years of sales experience.
  • Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry preferred.
  • Must possess a proven track record of sales over-achievement, a high level of professionalism, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • An established network of business relationships within the audio industry.
