Description

As a Field engineer specializing in Operations Excellence, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and process optimization initiatives that deliver superior customer value. Reporting directly to the (Sr.) Director of Operations Planning & Engineering, your primary responsibility will be to lead projects aimed at enhancing operational processes and establishing quality systems within field service operations. Your strategic focus will drive efficiency improvements and elevate customer satisfaction
Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and completion of continuous improvement projects. Define project scopes, objectives, and timelines in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Spearhead process improvement initiatives and establish standardized work practices to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Develop a results-oriented team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: Effectively manage change by collaborating with stakeholders to gain buy-in for process improvements. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to ensure understanding and adoption of new processes.
  • Quality and Performance Metrics: Support the development and implementation of comprehensive quality and performance metrics across all operational domains. Facilitate change management efforts to ensure field leaders understand and embrace these metrics, driving a culture of quality excellence.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, sharing best practices, and celebrating successes. Identify opportunities for ongoing learning and development within the organization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a continuous improvement or process optimization role.
  •  Certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt) is required.
  • Proven experience in Continuous Improvement, within a manufacturing setting or other
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel to various field locations
