Billing Specialist - Verifications
Description
Job Purpose: As a Billing Specialist at Denova, you will be a crucial part of our revenue cycle team responsible for timely and accurate claim submissions, maintaining balance on accounts receivable, and updating patient records with precision.
What You Will Do:
- Accurately process, prepare, and submit all insurance claims, including Medicare.
- Conduct insurance eligibility verifications.
- Manage confidential patient information following HIPAA regulations.
- Address and resolve payer denials.
- Record patient and insurance payments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Scrub psychiatry and medical claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding standards.
- Provide support to the billing team by managing inquiries via emails and phone calls from business partners.

What We Need From You:
- Educational Background: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in insurance claims processing or a closely related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in HIPAA regulations, excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Must be located in Arizona as in office days are required
Your Work Schedule:
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Flexibility: Transition to hybrid/remote work after training
