Director of Behavioral Health Operations
Job Purpose:
The Director of Behavioral Health Operations ensures all operations follow clinical guidelines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partners with VP of Behavioral Health to gauge trends in patient satisfaction, and monitors survey feedback for trends and areas of opportunity.
- This role will be heavily involved in training and development of clinicians and oversee clinical directors of assessment, our internship program, and therapy teams.
- Manages complaints and quality of care concerns, including resolution and follow-up and collaborates with appropriate staff, escalates to VP as appropriate.
- Develops, retains, evaluates, and provides clinical/administrative supervision and coaching to clinical supervisors and therapist staff, documents supervision activity per designated guidelines.
- Coordinates the hiring and performance of interns, associate level, professional level, and supervisory staff and advises as to whether they should be hired by Bayless.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Behavioral Health Professional in the State of Arizona per A.R.S. Title 9, Chapter 20 (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D)
- Must have at least three (3) years’ behavioral health experience with a minimum of 2-3 years’ supervisory experience
- BA/BS degree and master’s degree required; Doctorate in Behavioral Health preferred.
- Strong project management skills, including complex projects resulting in measurable program growth.
- Excellent communication skills
