Job Purpose: As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you’ll play a crucial role in transforming lives. Working collaboratively with our dedicated physicians, you will deliver comprehensive medical care and innovative treatments to clients of all ages with psychiatric conditions. Whether in our dynamic outpatient environment or through our cutting-edge tele-psych services, you will be at the forefront of mental health care, making a profound impact every day.
What You Will Do:
- Responds to and initiates care for those requiring mental health services throughout Denova facilities.
- Identifies patient mental health problems and prescribes treatment under the direction of a physician.
- Implements mental health services utilizing therapeutic regimens approved by a psychiatrist.
- Provides mental health education to patients, healthcare, and medical staff.
- Provide health/behavioral health assessments (including differential diagnoses and prognosis), treatment recommendations, and treatment planning for clients across program types.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Need From You:
- Proficiency in Spanish is required for this position. Candidates must be willing to demonstrate their language skills through successful completion of the ALTA language proficiency test
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and a nurse practitioner master's degree with a focus on psychiatric nursing
- Three to five years of clinical experience preferred.
- Must have fluency in documenting an electronic medical record.
- Must have active CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Strong project management skills, including complex projects resulting in measurable program growth.
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a valid fingerprint clearance card and a recent tuberculosis test on file.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities required.
Your Work Schedule:
- We offer a flexible 4/10 schedule, allowing you to work four 10-hour days per week. Depending on business needs, your schedule may be adjusted accordingly. This position is primarily a hybrid role, with the likelihood of working remotely three days a week and spending one day onsite.
