General Accounting Clerk

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced General Accounting Clerk. The General Accounting Clerk will perform traditional accounting duties, account reconciliations and duties related to monthly accounting close.

Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of CDK/ADP
  • Extensive knowledge of Manufacture, Bank and F/P reconciliations
  • Extensive knowledge in Automotive Billing
  • Extensive knowledge of CIT/ Banking Reports
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Working knowledge of most accounting office positions
  • Working knowledge of finance reserves

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of a High School diploma required. 3 years of dealership accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is required.
  • GAAP: 1 Year PREFERRED
  • CPA License Certification PREFERRED

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at t desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
