Description

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers at the dealership. This position is responsible for greeting customers with a professional and friendly demeanor, directing them appropriately, answering and routing phone calls, and performing general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will maintain a polished appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors and customers promptly and professionally upon entry
  • Answer multi-line telephone system, screen and route calls appropriately
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
  • Direct customers to the appropriate departments or personnel
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to staff
  • Provide basic dealership information to customers and callers
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other correspondence
  • Schedule appointments
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Support dealership staff with clerical tasks as requested

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of receptionist or customer service experience preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
  • Frequent use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This position operates in a professional front office setting
  • Frequent interaction with customers, vendors, and employees
