Payroll Specialist
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Payroll Specialist. The purpose of the Payroll Specialist is to process member payroll transactions.
ADP WFN experience is required.
IDS experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Processes payroll
- Processes Personnel Action Forms
- Maintains various member receivables
- Ensures accurate coding of payroll transactions
- Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller/Payroll Manager
- Process chargebacks and cancellations
- Attends weekly department meetings
- Other duties as assigned by Controller
Education and/or Experience
High School or General Education Degree (GED); and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADP Payroll Plus experience and/or training recommended.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at t desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
