FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly 
Schedule:
Non-Rotational 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and/or General Ledger
  • Provides support to the corporate office and/or regional offices, as requested
  • Compiles data, computes charges and prepares invoices for billing and/or payment purposes
  • Prepares and reviews account reconciliation
  • Maintains records and documentation through the accounting cycle as directed
  • May give minimal guidance to entry level accounting support.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs day – to –day administrative tasks associated with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Two year Degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Three (3) years' general accounting technician experience
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, preferred
  • Experience with Coupa, preferred
  • Experience in creating spreadsheets, data entry and use of other Microsoft Office systems
  • Project costing experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: 

  • Knowledge of current accounting, business and organizational practices
  • Knowledge of accounting theory and methods
  • Knowledge of mathematics and its applications
  • Construction industry and job cost experience
  • Knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Computer skills commensurate with program and job applications
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and get along with diverse personalities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

 Required Training & Certificates:

  • Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department
