Death Wish Coffee is looking to add a Marketing Finance Analyst to our growing financial planning and analysis team to analyze and help support profitable growth through the organization.
- Conducts in-depth analyses and research that focuses on areas such as sales/ marketing promotions, annual business reviews, volume, distribution, velocity, competitor analysis, etc.
- Prepares detail of work plan and schedule, completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options for new business ventures
- Develops and prepares reports for brand marketers and the functional leaders; recommends action or change for assigned projects
- Analyzes general market and specific business conditions trends and prepares forecasts to support current and future business decisions
- Deliver foundational trade analytics through performing ongoing promo analysis (ROI, volume, lift, etc.) on assigned accounts, and deliver compelling summaries for activation
- Maintain and disseminate promotional scorecards on ongoing basis
- Coordinate analysis of invoice pricing discrepancies amongst analyst in accounting and sales
- Determine root cause of pricing discrepancies and drive resolution and future corrective actions
- Understand the wider differences across items/retailers/support mechanisms and help aggregate learnings for annual planning process into specific guardrails and guidelines
- Perform monthly variance analysis of actual financial performance vs. budget / forecast with marketing spend

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in planning, analysis, or financial management; with at least one year in a CPG or consumer goods company
- Proven leadership ability and strength is building internal relationships
- Excellent quantitative and analytics skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills associates with large volume data sets
- Ability to identify key business drivers to align finance department resources against the most important needs of the business
- Completed bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or marketing
- Knowledge and has practical experience with SQL
- Experience in NetSuite or similar accounting software
- Previous experience in a high growth organization
- Experience with a CPG and/or manufacturing company
