Dean Dorton, one of the largest and most acclaimed certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the Southeast, has an opportunity for an experienced Command Center/ Office Services Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting firm operations, client service, and office hospitality. This opportunity is available in our West Chester Office.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a dual-role position that combines document processing and office services with front desk and client-facing responsibilities. You will be a key part of ensuring both our internal teams and visiting clients have a seamless, professional experience.
Command Center / Office Services Responsibilities
  • Perform external and internal document processing, including formatting, assembling, administrative review, and preparation of highly confidential documents (tax returns, financial reports, etc.)
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and materials utilized in document processing
  • Provide backup document processing and scanning assistance as needed
  • Assist with additional administrative projects, firm errands, and deliveries as required
Front Desk & Office Coordination Responsibilities
  • Answer the firm’s main telephone line and route calls appropriately, taking accurate and complete messages when team members are unavailable
  • Greet guests personally and by name, creating a welcoming and professional first impression
  • Treat guests as you would in your own home—offering beverages and ensuring they are comfortable during their visit
  • Ensure conference rooms are properly set up for meetings
  • Assist team members with reserving meeting spaces and coordinating beverage and meal orders
  • Perform end-of-day office shutdown procedures to ensure the office is secure and ready for the next business day
 
Preferred Qualifications
Dean Dorton is seeking applicants who are:
  • Dedicated to a career in administrative and office support
  • Possessing a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative, office services, or front desk role
  • Experienced working in a professional services environment with deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere
  • Personable, articulate, and professional with a strong client-service mindset
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing requests
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working with a variety of personalities
  • Able to work independently with strong initiative and minimal direct supervision
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, in-office position, with regular hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Some overtime, including weekends, may be required during peak periods to meet government deadlines.
