Dean Dorton is seeking a dynamic Community Relations and Events Manager to join our team. This role is critical to driving business growth and brand visibility through the development and management of strategic partnerships.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, and in collaboration with the business development team, Industry Strategists, and the Market Growth Leader, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with key pipeline partners in the Cincinnati/Northern KY market, managing sponsorships and events, and ensuring alignment with Dean Dorton’s overarching brand strategy to grow market share and brand equity. As a key member of the Marketing Team, you will lead brand growth and market visibility in the Cincinnati/Northern KY market.  
This role will require a blend of creative thinking, strong business acumen, and a shrewd attention to detail as you identify new partnerships, develop branded initiatives, and execute  corporate and community events. You will be instrumental in crafting strategies that expand our market presence while ensuring all partnerships and your representation reflect the quality and integrity of Dean Dorton’s brand.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy, planning, execution, and performance of multi-channel partnership programs and regional marketing campaigns to drive the demand pipeline from partners, sponsorships, and events.
  • Grow our partnership marketing program by identifying potential partners to maximize revenue through our joint relationships. Recommend solutions to develop joint marketing plans with partners by researching prospect behavior trends, target audience, demography, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to design partnership and content, including partner program presentations, case studies, partnership newsletters, etc.
  • Identify, create, and execute on-site marketing campaigns that drive lead acquisition, and own the journey to client conversion.
  • Recommend field activities including events and roadshows within the Cincinnati/Northern KY market and partner ecosystem to invest and drive pipeline growth through events and partnership marketing.
  • Manage event contract negotiations and ensure successful execution of agreements.
  • Own and lead market insights. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to identify opportunities for new partnerships and pipeline growth.
  • Analyze, forecast, and report progress against Marketing pipeline goals and ROI.
  • Serial Student: possess an attitude and proactive approach to learning and growing.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing, promotions, or community marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of promotional and marketing strategies.
  • Polished professional with excellent collaboration, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel is required. Reliable transportation.
