Location: On-site, Fort Wright, KY
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

As a Human Resources Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting the full employee life cycle, from onboarding to performance management and beyond. You will collaborate closely with our HR Generalists and team leadership, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with HR Generalists to support the employee life cycle for team members of Dean Dorton. This includes participating in employee relations conversations, managing leave programs, and completing employment verifications.
  • Assist in executing the performance management process and strategy by supporting timelines, drafting documentation, and maintaining performance management software.
  • Serve as a resource for team members, addressing day-to-day questions about benefits, policies, and HR programs.
  • Support the exit process through overseeing processes, participating in exit interviews, and integrating feedback into employee programs.
  • Play a key role in new hire onboarding, collaborating with hiring managers and team leadership to build and coordinate onboarding agendas.
  • Manage logistics and administration of onboarding, including scheduling, internal ticketing, and compliance with new hire requirements.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations, handle all new hire paperwork, and analyze feedback from new hire surveys to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
  • Assist in developing and managing onboarding education materials, including training videos and self-study guides.
  • Serve as a critical component to the integrity and accuracy of team member data, including managing employee life cycle updates in our HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Partner with HR team members on special projects and initiatives that interest YOU!

 

What We are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on HR experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel for day trips and occasional overnight stays.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting team needs.
