Senior Account Executive
SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
A SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE is capable of running small to medium-sized projects with limited day-to-day supervision and support senior account management staff in running large projects. This position provides critical project management and business support to monitoring the progress of a project with an eye towards ground-breaking creative that is delivered on-time and on-budget. The SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE is responsible for developing productive client relationships based on mutual trust and respect, and is expected to deliver clear, timely and comprehensive communications to clients in all matters.
Areas of Accountability
The SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE is accountable for:
- Project Stewardship:
Manage the creative development process up to client approval including reviewing client briefs, collaborating with STRATEGY on creative brief development, creative briefings, internal reviews, client review, and consultation with PRODUCTION.
Management routines including legal reviews, competitive monitoring, industry research, and day-to-day financial management of the account including opening, reconciling, closing jobs within the agency finance system
Preparing accurate, weekly status reports and running status meeting as needed.
Throughout the production process, ensure all legal and regulatory standards are met, internal processes are followed i.e., proofreading, QA, etc.
Organizing and maintaining all files on server.
Manage and train ACCOUNT COORDINATOR as required
In partnership with the PRODUCER, ensures the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects
- Client Stewardship:
Has deep knowledge of client’s industry
Conducting industry research as needed
Actively monitors & researches competitive activity, maintains daily Google News alerts and supports preparation of regular competitive reviews
Curating content and deliver timely digital clip sheets to the client
Publishing financial tracking documentation formally to client on a monthly basis
Creating actionable conference reports after client presentations, discussions, and meetings no later than 24 business hours after the meeting.
- Agency Stewardship:
Actively implement and adhere to established processes.
Driving improvement in agency processes and workflow where a need is identified.
Organize and maintain all financial and client agreements including SOWs, COs, Conference Reports.
Organize and maintain all files on server.
Organize and maintain all talent/music/usage records and relevant files.
Mentor and train Account Coordinator to foster an open, collaborative work environment.

- Must have 3 years working experience in an account management or project management role at an interactive advertising or marketing firm
- B.A. required; MBA a plus
