First and foremost, we’re looking for someone with a sharp, instinctive point of view on brands, modern marketing and the agency landscape. Someone who knows enough to be dangerous across every step of the brand experience, but also knows when to call in the experts for help. Someone with an uncanny ability to turn business problems into creative opportunities in unexpected ways with sharp, incisive insights and creatively-fertile strategies. We’re not looking for theory, we’re looking for someone to inspire groundbreaking ideas and collaborate with creatives and clients to make them actionable and effective.
This is a hands-on strategy job for someone who can lead a client’s “purpose” workshop one day, build out an impromptu comms plan framework for a pitch the next day and talk-the-talk with clients, media partners and creatives about data-driven marketing in a way that manages to get them excited. It’s about collaboration and coordination of cross-functional teams to amplify the impact of our ideas. It’s about having ideas of your own and having the confidence (and skill) to sell them through. And it’s helping organize the chaos of a creatively-driven client while setting a vision for their brands, while keeping the agency and creative partners disciplined in working toward that vision.
