Senior Account Executive- Pharma

DDB is looking to expand their Account Team by hiring a Senior Account Executive. This SAE will quickly get to know the creative and strategic process, competitive landscape and work with the internal team and clients to execute print and digital materials.  This 3+ years of experience position, will focus on the health & wellness brands partnering with pharmaceutical and therapeutics companies to execute exciting, educational materials for patients. The products are in the Oncology space.

Responsibilities

Drive day-to-day projects through the agency processes and ensure projects work through appropriate channels and meet requirements/deadlines/estimate by working closely with internal teams through:

  • Ensuring the account is organized and efficient
  • Partnering on creative execution
  • Reviewing and assessing creative
  • Contributing strategic recommendations
  • Developing strong and effective working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Effectively leading internal meetings (e.g. status meetings, job start-ups, etc.), making important, relevant contributions, and generate workable conclusions
  • Monitors brand budget by projects on a weekly basis and schedules regular reconciliation with client
  • Leads tactical presentations of agency work at the brand level
  • Opening financial job numbers
  • Updating and maintaining status reports
  • Assessing/auditing competitive landscape
  • Aligning with production department on project timelines and deliverables to help with prioritization
  • Owning the client legal/regulatory/medical submission process
  • Completing submission uploads
  • Working with supervisor to ensure all materials are produced accurately and represent the agency in a positive light
  • Oversee administration and assist with scheduling of meetings and coordination
  • Clearly communicate feedback from client with internal team
  • Record and summarize notes coming out of key internal and client meetings
  • Understanding of agency vision and goals and client vision and goals

Qualifications 

  • Interest in health, wellness and the medical industry
  • Products are in the Oncology space
  • Has a can-do attitude that will contribute to the overall office morale and work quality
  • Ability to communicate in a business-like manner with a diverse range of people, both internal and external
  • Astute attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft office including powerpoint
