About the role:

The Regional Account Coordinator (AC) works with the regional account team in directing and coordinating assigned projects. In this role, the AC is responsible for sound, proper and timely execution of all assigned work. This role is for the Kia, Tier 2/Regional group (DMG).

The AC must be extremely detail-oriented, with superior written and verbal communication skills while being able to balance/prioritize multiple projects at once. 

The nature of the AC position requires ongoing and in-depth interactions with agency staff, outside vendors, and client representatives, including but not limited to the following duties:

Internal – In this position, the AC will work closely with all agency staff members in planning, analyzing, evaluating and executing information for both programs and projects, and in managing assigned activities. The AC reports to internal team members as well as assigned Field Management Supervisors as directed by the Account Director. As assigned, the AC has overall responsibility for the work to which the AC is assigned.

Major Responsibilities & Duties

The AC has two areas of responsibility that fall under specific projects and programs.

 A)   Plan, analyze and evaluate information and agency output relevant to assigned client projects and needs. This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Help develop and update workable budgets and plans.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executives, Account Supervisor and Management Supervisor in preparation of recommendations, marketing strategies and actions for the client.
  • Gather, review and analyze material relative to client needs – media results, sales data, research data, etc.
B)     Coordinate and manage the activities necessary to meet the needs of assigned projects. This includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Manage the execution of assigned broadcast, digital, print, point-of-sale, outdoor, social, and promotional work requests in efficient, timely manner.
  • Maintain daily communication with appropriate agency and client personnel, including Field members, to ensure that assigned work is handled in a positive, timely and efficient manner.
  • Organize monthly broadcast rotations and execute incentive tagging process.
  • Assist in monitoring budget, research and similar items.
