ABOUT THE ROLE:

D&G is looking for a Management Supervisor for the Kia Dealer Marketing Group in the Central Region. If you have automotive and dealer experience, plus 7+ years of advertising agency experience we'd love to hear from you!

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Develop strong relationships with key Kia Regional clients (Kia area personnel along with Dealers).
  • Bring value to the client’s business through a strong commitment to success, consistent performance and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions.
  • Leverage knowledge of the automotive category – competitors, industry trends, and sales process – to help identify problems and suggest solutions to the client’s daily business.
  • Act as an effective advocate for agreed upon objectives, strategies and creative concepts/executions.  In addition, act as an effective advocate for David&Goliath with Kia Regional Management, Dealer Marketing Groups (DMGs) and key Dealers.    
  • In conjunction with the Kia Regional Marketing Manager, review and establish short and long-term objectives and opportunities, and develop recommendations to DMGs regarding creative rotations and offer messaging.  In addition, work with the media agency to review DMG media plans, pending changes, and promotional opportunities.
  • Consistently provide clear and timely communications to stakeholders via the weekly Field Report, DMG conference reports, and individual dealer meetings/conversations, and individual inquires and requests in a timely manner. 
  • Communicate all salient information in a timely manner regarding new or evolving issues and concerns, substantial developments regarding business operations, and changes in the marketplace. 
  • Demonstrate confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of the agency team.
  • Effectively balance the dual expectations of your clients and the agency.
  • In conjunction with the Kia Regional Marketing Manager and the media agency identify Regional and Local promotional and sponsorship opportunities: generate incremental dealer traffic and subsequent sales in an effective and efficient manner, generate brand awareness and consideration, and demonstrate a measurable return-on-investment. 
  • Manage and execute all logistics related to promotional opportunities in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Act as an effective administrator in scheduling, organizing and coordinating all DMG meeting logistics. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all dealers (DMG and non-DMG) regarding advertising needs. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • BA/BS degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 7+ years of advertising agency experience
  • Automotive experience a must
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Must be proficient on MS Office products
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time
