We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team as a Software Engineer 1. This individual will be joining our investment program, where they will focus on growing their critical thinking and engineering skills at Ramsey. This individual will also be expected to solve problems with a mentor throughout the course of a year. The goal is for this individual to become a Software Engineer 2 as quickly as possible so that they can do their part in creating quality digital products that contribute to changing people’s lives and bringing hope in every walk of life.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Sitting with your team and mentor to learn actively how to critically think like an engineer.
- Shadowing other engineers on the team, focusing on learning by doing, absorbing information daily on how to level up.
- Contributing to code and collaborating with the team to create high-quality digital products.
Skills Needed to Win:
- Completed code school, graduated with a degree in computer science, or have up to two years of work experience within software engineering, demonstrating initiative and commitment to becoming a software engineer.
- A hunger for learning and a strong desire to grow as a Developer.
- Ability to think critically and ask insightful questions to mentors and team members, aiding in problem-solving processes.
- Self-starting attitude with the capability to become a constant learner and contributor within the codebase, solving business problems informed by customer value.
