We are seeking an Editorial Designer to join our Ramsey Education team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, high-quality materials educational curriculum to provide life changing personal finance skills to high school students across the United States.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Create visually compelling layouts for textbooks, workbooks, teacher guides, and other educational materials, ensuring consistency in design and adherence to brand guidelines
- Collaborate and ideate with instructional designers, writers, copyeditors, and product managers
- Capture students' attention through strong typography, imagery, and other design elements
- Create infographics, charts, and illustrations to clarify the subject matter and to bring the materials to life
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends and software
Skills Needed to Win:
- 2+ years of experience in Adobe InDesign
- 2+ years of design experience (editorial, catalogs, magazines, book, or curriculum materials)
- 2+ years of in-house or agency design experience and willingness to learn editorial design
- A track record of organizational skills to maintain clarity around assets within an ecosystem
