Desktop Support (Tier 2 & 3)

Datawiz has a current opening for a Desktop Support (Tier 2 & 3)  to support one of our largest Government clients in Arlington, VA. 

For this role, we are looking for someone who loves to solve problems and passionate about technology.  You will be working within a group of desktop technicians (like minded individuals)  and field engineers that are responsible for supporting all hardware and software products used by the agency. You will be part of the team, helping to troubleshoot problems and provide customers solutions. Are you ready for the challenge? 

Minimum Requirements:

  •  At least 2 plus years of experience on a desk side support help desk.
  • Strong background to encompass Active Directory, Service Now, MS Office suite including O365, and One drive.
  • Basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and  Domain Controllers. ( At least an understanding of how they work)
  • Experience working with building new laptops, break-fix, hard drive migrations, setting up tokens.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills for laptop hardware / software issues, MFDs and printers.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Experience and Knowledge of ServiceNow or BigFix
  • This position supports a federal government agency that requires US Citizenship and Background Investigation. The candidate must be able to clear the Background Investigation in order to commence work.
