Description

The Asset Management Technician responsibilities include:

  • Perform asset functions to include inventory, discovery and reconciliation as well as unbox computer equipment, pull hard drives prepare shipments and make deliveries.
  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in inventory, matching shipping manifest to orders and distributing for processing.
  • Read work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Ensure warehouse area is accessible and safe for traffic, organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory.

Education and Years of Experience: High school diploma plus 3 years asset, warehouse and delivery experience.

Desired Skills/Certifications: Desired to be able to operate a fork lift and be forklift certified but it is not required.

Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to able to lift 30 lbs daily. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
