Are you looking to break into the world of Human Resources? We’re hiring a dependable and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our day-to-day HR operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR knowledge in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 hourly

What You’ll Do:

        Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative support for the entire HR department, which includes the sub-departments of Human Resources, Payroll and Recruiting.

        Maintain employee records, files, and databases with accuracy

        Respond to basic employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate HR contact, organize, and update personnel documentation Assist with data entry and tracking in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

        Assist with onboarding processes (pre-employment screening process, pre-hire documentation, onboarding checklists, and new hire anticipated tracker)

        Participate in the execution of employee recognition efforts (anniversaries, birthdays, welcome gifts)

        Organize and restock HR supplies (new hire folders, badges, company swag, etc.)

        Assist with internal communications (HR announcements, survey reminders, event invites)

        Assist and conduct departmental audits and document requests

        Shadow and learn from senior HR staff during employee relations, compliance, or recruiting/onboarding processes

        Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

What We’re Looking For:

        Interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn

        Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

        Comfortable working with confidential information

        Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) is strongly preferred

        Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

        Experience in recruiting or human resources is a PLUS

Physical Requirements: 

         Ability to remain in a seated position for multiple hours at a time
