Are you looking to break into the world of Human Resources? We’re hiring a dependable and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our day-to-day HR operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR knowledge in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 hourly

What You’ll Do:
● Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative support for the entire HR department, which includes the sub-departments of Human Resources, Payroll and Recruiting.
● Maintain employee records, files, and databases with accuracy
● Respond to basic employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate HR contact, organize, and update personnel documentation Assist with data entry and tracking in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
● Assist with onboarding processes (pre-employment screening process, pre-hire documentation, onboarding checklists, and new hire anticipated tracker)
● Participate in the execution of employee recognition efforts (anniversaries, birthdays, welcome gifts)
● Organize and restock HR supplies (new hire folders, badges, company swag, etc.)
● Assist with internal communications (HR announcements, survey reminders, event invites)
● Assist and conduct departmental audits and document requests
● Shadow and learn from senior HR staff during employee relations, compliance, or recruiting/onboarding processes
● Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
What We’re Looking For:
● Interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn
● Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
● Comfortable working with confidential information
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) is strongly preferred
● Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
● Experience in recruiting or human resources is a PLUS

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to remain in a seated position for multiple hours at a time
