Position Overview
Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a Technical Expert / Functional Expert – Network to provide enterprise-level network architecture, engineering, and technical leadership supporting mission-critical environments. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing complex network infrastructures across multiple locations while serving as the technical authority for enterprise networking, datacenter architecture, virtualization, and network 


What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise network architectures for mission-critical environments
  • Provide technical leadership for enterprise Local Area Network (LAN), Campus Area Network (CAN), and Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) infrastructures
  • Design and maintain secure enterprise network architectures, including datacenter virtualization and security boundary solutions
  • Install, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco-based network infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and security appliances
  • Perform physical installation, configuration, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices
  • Design and implement enterprise IPSEC Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions
  • Configure and support Cisco IOS, CatOS, and NX-OS operating systems
  • Administer and maintain Cisco ASA firewalls, Firewall Services Modules (FWSM), TACACS+, CiscoWorks, HP OpenView, and F5/Cisco load balancers
  • Design and support Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4 networking technologies, routing, switching, and access control solutions
  • Support enterprise networking technologies including InfiniBand, Juniper networking platforms, and Fibre Channel (FC) Storage Area Networks (SANs)
  • Analyze network traffic and perform advanced troubleshooting using packet capture and network analysis tools
  • Develop enterprise network security architectures utilizing stateful firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), and security boundary protections
  • Optimize network performance, availability, scalability, and resiliency across enterprise environments
  • Create network architecture diagrams, engineering documentation, and technical design artifacts
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level technical presentations and engineering briefings
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, and infrastructure engineers to develop secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions
  • Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements to enterprise architecture, performance, and security 

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, architecture, monitoring, security, and infrastructure protection; or 15 years of directly related professional experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise datacenter network architectures
  • Experience designing secure enterprise network infrastructures supporting multiple operational environments
  • Expert experience installing, configuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPN solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, routing protocols, switching technologies, and Layer 2 through Layer 4 networking
  • Experience with Cisco technologies, including: Cisco IOS, CatOS, Cisco NX-OS, Cisco ASA, Firewall Services Module (FWSM), TACACS+, CiscoWorks, Cisco routers and switches
  • Experience supporting: F5 and Cisco load balancers, Juniper networking platforms, InfiniBand, Fibre Channel (FC) Storage Area Networks (SANs), IPSEC VPN technologies
  • Experience designing enterprise security boundaries utilizing stateful firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), and network segmentation
  • Experience with packet capture and advanced network analysis tools for troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Experience developing network architecture diagrams, engineering documentation, and executive technical presentations
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise networking, datacenter architecture, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
