Position Overview
Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a Junior CNO Analyst/Programmer to support the design, development, and implementation of Cyber Network Operations (CNO) capabilities. This role will contribute to the development of custom software tools, integration of mission applications, and support the full software development lifecycle while working collaboratively with senior engineers to deliver secure, high-performance cyber solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain custom software supporting Cyber Network Operations (CNO)
- Develop and integrate end-to-end data flows and tasking into CNO tools and capabilities
- Develop software applications using Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python
- Develop Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET development environments
- Develop UNIX/Linux applications utilizing Makefiles or comparable build environments
- Develop embedded and mobile platform applications using proprietary, Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), and open-source development environments
- Participate in software architecture, design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with Government software engineering processes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, and mission stakeholders to develop and integrate software solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and enhance software applications to improve functionality and performance
- Support software integration, validation, and deployment activities
- Ensure software quality by following established Government software development standards, engineering processes, and best practices
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of directly related professional experience; or Master's degree with 2 years of related experience; or High school diploma with 8 years of directly related professional experience
- Experience developing software applications using one or more of the following programming languages: Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, Python
- Experience developing Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and/or .NET development environments
- Experience developing UNIX/Linux applications using Makefiles or comparable build environments
- Experience developing embedded or mobile applications using proprietary, Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), or open-source development environments
- Experience participating in software design, code, and software readiness reviews
- Experience producing technical documentation supporting software development activities
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Government software engineering processes
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
