Position Overview
Cyber B.A.T. is seeking an Entry CNO Analyst/Programmer to support the design, development, and integration of advanced Cyber Network Operations (CNO) capabilities in a mission-focused environment. This role will develop custom software solutions, integrate end-to-end data flows, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and contribute to secure, high-performance applications supporting operational requirements.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop custom software applications supporting Cyber Network Operations (CNO)
- Develop and integrate end-to-end data flows and tasking into CNO tools and capabilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain mission-critical software applications
- Develop software using Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python
- Build and maintain Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET development environments
- Develop UNIX-based applications utilizing Makefiles or comparable build environments
- Develop software for embedded and mobile platforms using proprietary, Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), and open-source development environments
- Participate in software architecture, design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with established Government software development processes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and government stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software applications to improve functionality and performance
- Ensure software quality through testing, integration, and compliance with project standards and development methodologies
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- An additional four (4) years of directly related professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Experience designing and developing custom software applications
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
- Experience developing Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and/or .NET development environments
- Experience developing UNIX applications using Makefiles or similar build environments
- Experience developing embedded or mobile platform applications using proprietary, Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), or open-source build environments
- Experience participating in software design reviews, code reviews, and software readiness reviews
- Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Government software development processes
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and software integration skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-oriented development environment
