Position Overview
Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a CNO Analyst/Programmer to support the design, development, and implementation of advanced Cyber Network Operations (CNO) capabilities. This position is responsible for developing custom software tools, integrating end-to-end data flows, participating in the full software development lifecycle, and supporting mission-critical cyber operations in accordance with Government engineering and development standards. 


What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom software supporting Cyber Network Operations (CNO)
  • Design and implement end-to-end data flows and tasking within CNO tools and capabilities
  • Develop software applications using Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python
  • Develop Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET development environments
  • Develop UNIX/Linux applications using Makefiles or comparable build environments
  • Develop embedded and mobile platform applications using proprietary, Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), and open-source development environments
  • Design and implement network socket-based applications and packet-level software
  • Develop software that interfaces directly with network protocols and communications infrastructure
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in software architecture, design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with Government software engineering processes
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations related to assigned projects and software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate and optimize mission capabilities
  • Troubleshoot, test, debug, and enhance software applications to improve performance, reliability, and functionality
  • Ensure compliance with established Government software development standards and engineering best practices 

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience designing and developing custom software for Cyber Network Operations (CNO)
  • Proficiency programming in one or more of the following languages: Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, Python
  • Experience developing Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and/or .NET development environments
  • Experience developing UNIX/Linux applications using Makefiles or comparable build environments
  • Experience developing embedded or mobile applications using proprietary, Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), or open-source development environments
  • Experience with network socket programming and packet-level software development
  • Expert understanding of IP, TCP, and application-layer network protocols
  • Experience designing and integrating end-to-end data flows for CNO tools
  • Experience authoring technical documentation and participating in software design, code, and software readiness reviews
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and software integration skills
  • Ability to prepare and present technical briefings to project stakeholders
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or
  • High school diploma with a minimum of 12 years of directly related professional experience
