We are excited to announce an internal  job opportunity for a Sales Training & Program Manager to join our growing sales team!

The Sales Training and Program Manager is responsible for significantly contributing to the achievement of the Company’s overall strategic and financial objectives.
  The Sales Training and Program Manager will be responsible for assisting with content development and execution of key training objectives for CBG Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and customers.  This position is also responsible for contributing to the overall development and management of key strategic programs with assigned customers or channels.  Program management responsibilities include, but not limited to developing effective sales and marketing programs, formulating and implementing selling strategies designed to continually increase sales and profits.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Programs

  • Works with key stakeholders on the development of overall account strategy to realize sales and profit goals. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement program and promotional approach to drive sales and increase customer activation.   
  • Analyzes and reports on sales and program performance, including recommended action plans to address any gaps vs. objectives.
  • Works with the Marketing team on coordination and planning of all customer events or meetings, including Conventions, Industry Trade Shows, Dealer Councils, Trip Incentive programs, etc...
  • Facilitates communication of key events, updates, program/pricing changes, and other information vital to sales success to internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Prepares, attends and participates in key customer meetings, conferences calls, and/or webexes as necessary and appropriate. 
  • Works with key stakeholders to develop and execute new account activation objectives for key selling channels. 

Training

  • Collaborates with National Program & Training Director to develop content and executes all aspects of ASM training; New hire and continuing education, self-directed and in-person/virtual, product, selling skills, technology, and other as deemed vital to the business. 
  • Works in conjunction with technical training team member(s) to develop video content related to product knowledge and overall continuing education. (Not responsible for the video production). 
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of sales experience
  • Sales experience and product knowledge in the window treatment industry is required

  • Must be able to travel at least 30% of the time, travel will vary.
  • Not your normal 40 hour work week, must be available to work evening and weekends.
