Position Description 

As a Design Professional with Cushing Terrell, you will collaborate with project teams on architectural design, project development, construction documents, and construction administration. Design Professionals develop design and technical solutions under the direct supervision of an experienced architect. Design Professionals must be capable of coordinating design with technical teams and managing project segments with the appropriate expertise. This role may oversee less experienced Design Professionals and technical team members.

 

Position Salary Range*

The expected salary range for this position is $57,000 to $65,000 annually.

 

Required Qualifications** 

  • NAAB-accredited architecture degree required
  • 3-6 years’ experience in architecture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Revit skills
  • A passion for being part of a team that is working together to achieve a common goal. 

Preferred Qualifications** 

  • Experience with Government, Commercial or Retail projects.
  • Ability to present concepts internally and to clients to achieve consensus.
  • Knowledge of construction documents process for larger, technical projects.  
  • Experience in construction administration.
  • Strong Autocad skills 
  • Familiarity with the code.
  • Have excellent design skills and strong technical proficiency including experience in working in the following platforms: Autodesk, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

Position Responsibilities*** 

  • Collaborate in all aspects of architectural design, including creating concepts.
  • Communicate with the project team proactively.
  • Provide an experience for our clients that cannot be replicated anywhere else.
  • Work with project team to create construction documents.
  • Create renderings and other presentations materials.
  • Learn and have fun!

*Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate’s years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
