Management Development Program
The Management Development Program (MDP) is a three-year rotational program designed to develop core business skills and deep knowledge of the education publishing and technology landscape. Associates rotate through roles in departments such as marketing, operations, product development, UX research, or product management, spending 8–15 months in each rotation. By combining three high-impact rotations with close mentorship and professional development programming, the MDP sets Associates up to be leaders in their next chosen fields.

Do I need a certain major to apply?
All majors are welcome! Our Associates have majored in Political Science, Communications, Economics, Marketing, English, History, and more.
How does the rotation placement process work?
Rotation placement is based on individual interests and company needs. Each year, Associates meet one-on-one with the program manager to discuss goals, growth areas, and potential rotations.
What do Associates do after the program?
Alumni of the program have gone on to pursue graduate degrees in business and education, work at nonprofits, or have remained at CA in management roles.

Educator SuccessThe Educator Success Associate leads the management, analysis, and dissemination of user feedback to support the production of new resources for educators.
Professional Development Field SupportThe PD Field Support Associate works closely with the professional services team to plan internal learning events and develop resources to support consultants in the field.
Strategy & OperationsThe Strategy & Operations Associate collaborates with various departments to support strategic planning initiatives and data analysis.
Product ManagementThe Product Management Associate works on a software development scrum team to define and develop new features for digital products.
UX ResearchThe Associate UX Researcher works with the platform and digital instruction teams to conduct user research studies and present findings.
Digital InstructionThe Associate Producer on the Digital Instruction team manages creative conversations across teams to help drive the conceptualization, production, and execution of lesson content.
