Management Development Program:

Program begins annually in July – Applications open every September for the following summer

This program is ideal for: Recent graduates

The Management Development Program (MDP) is an elite three-year rotational program designed to develop future leaders in education, technology, and business. In this program, you’ll work across a variety of departments and functions, contributing to highly visible initiatives where you can make an impact during your first year.

By combining these dynamic rotations with close mentorship and coaching from the company’s leadership team, the MDP allows you to build skills across a diverse set of core competencies, preparing you for your professional career or to pursue your MBA.

This program will build your knowledge and skills and set you up for career success. Many graduates also transition to full-time roles within the company after completing the program.

EdTech Fellowship:

Program begins annually in July – Applications open in February

This program is ideal for: Co-op students and recent college graduates

This full-time six-month Fellowship program (from July through December) is an ideal opportunity to get real-world working experience and discover a career path that’s right for you. For the first three months, you’ll work on one of our onboarding teams where you’ll learn the ins and outs of the business from your colleagues, industry leaders, our customers, and even our CEO. For the final half of the program, you’ll join a team (e.g., People Operations, Marketing, Finance) that interests you, working on impactful projects to help the department reach their goals.

This program will build your knowledge and skills so you can succeed in your career from the start. And, for graduates, this is also a chance to secure a full-time role if a slot on your preferred team is available.

Software Engineering Co-op:

The Co-Op is offered over the Fall and Spring Semesters – Applications open every September and February (apply the semester before you’d like to participate in the program)

This program is ideal for: Co-op students

Accomplish meaningful work and gain exposure to different aspects of software development as you grow your engineering career. In this program, you’ll be an integral part of a team composed of people from many groups such as UX/UI designers, project managers, content writers, and technical producers, while also being part of a larger community including other co-ops and interns.

You’ll be matched with targeted projects to help you gain skills and experience aligned with your interests. Some examples of projects you can work on include developing features that directly benefit our users, testing to ensure code quality, and taking ownership of designing and implementing engineering solutions to enhance our products.

Starting with smaller assignments to understand our tools and processes, you will take on more complicated, larger assignments as you learn and apply your skills.

Summer Internship:

Internships begin annually in June – Applications open every February

This program is ideal for: Undergraduate and graduate students

The Summer Internship Program is an excellent way to grow your career in between academic years. This 10 to 12-week paid program offers students an opportunity to network, engage in meaningful projects, and develop new skills, all while making a real impact on teachers and students across the country.

You will be placed in one of several departments such as marketing, strategy, finance, operations, editorial, product management, or educator success. Placements will be based on personal goals, experience and company needs.

As a member of the Summer Internship Program, you will have the opportunity to network and collaborate with various members of the organization, including senior leadership. You will have access to ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities and will be given dedicated time to connect with peers to develop your professional network.
