Curriculum Associates is in the early stages of launching a knowledge management strategy to support team members in having the most up-to-date information and best practices. The Knowledge Manager will evaluate the current knowledge strategy and develop a path forward in collaboration with various teams across the organization. The Knowledge Manager will lead the process to capture and maintain knowledge, coordinate content writers, define the roadmap for knowledge management systems, and partner with knowledge owners to prioritize content and ensure consistent content delivery. The Knowledge Manager will build relationships across end-user teams to ensure an efficient experience, establishing knowledge management deliverables as the most trusted and relevant source of information.

The Knowledge Manager will engage cross-functionally with teams across the organization, including product development, learning & development, business systems, marketing, sales, and service.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Lead management of an internal knowledge base and establish efficient processes to ensure high quality, relevant content for multiple teams.
  • Centralize knowledge across functions and engage with subject matter experts to prioritize the most critical knowledge and identify inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate effectively across the organization with knowledge owners, subject matter experts, and end users to understand their work, solicit the most relevant content, and identify gaps in the knowledge base.
  • Refine content design standards and feedback process to ensure quality of knowledge management deliverables as the most trusted source.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to advise on the strategy for application and retention of knowledge.
  • Leverage data to evaluate impact and define efficiency of the knowledge base content.

Who we’re looking for:

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong interest in working for a mission-centric organization. Ideal candidates will also exhibit qualifications including: 

  • 7+ years of experience operating as a change agent (ideally in knowledge management) and managing business-critical projects across a large organization with a dispersed workforce.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working cross-functionally and building relationships with remote teams.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and focus on solving problems and delivering results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through change, including building trust with all stakeholders, listening deeply, and driving towards consensus with respect, compassion, and humility.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

 

Travel Requirements

Approximately 10% of total time.
