The HR Generalist, reporting to the Manager, HR Shared Services, will support the HR Business Partners in their work with business leaders to drive, create and implement talent strategies to enable high-growth business outcomes. The HR Generalist will also partner with the HR Shared Services leader in providing a high service level to the employees. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of the critical role HR plays in employee experience. Experience in a dynamic, high growth environment that values its people, mission and culture is key. 

  

The impact you’ll have: 

  • Support HRBPs in key talent initiatives like performance management, employee development, talent reviews, career ladders and change management 

  • Conduct exit interviews with fidelity 

  • Prepare data and analytics for HRBPs to provide talent recommendations 

  • Update employee data in Workday 

  • Support process of opening new positions 

  • Assist with non-performance related Employee Relations issues 

  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures repository 

 

 Who we’re looking for: 

  • Proficient with Programs and Applications like Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS365) 

  • Proficiency with human resources information systems (HRIS). Experience with Workday is a plus. 

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs, particularly as it relates to employee benefits 

  • Strong listening and communication skills – both oral and written 

  • Strong interpersonal and customer centric skills – build trust and dependability 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills 

  • Strong customer service skills 

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information  

  • Highly responsive, organized and detail oriented  

  • Ability to be flexible and handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency  

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently 

 

Not required, although we’d love to see: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related field 

  • 1+ years’ experience in HR 

  • Experience with HRIS systems and applications a plus 

  • High proficiency with MS office
