The Research Content Manager will manage research publication projects, focusing on writing about the impact our programs have on student achievement. As part of the Educator Insights team, this position will develop and manage research collateral including written publications and presentations to support field and sales, maintain a library of resources, and respond to questions from the field.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Develop clear and compelling content on how our programs drive equitable achievement for students of all learning profiles
  • Write and edit research materials for consumption by non-technical audiences, including research reports, blog posts, website resources, slide decks and other training materials
  • Manage multiple short and long-term projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are executed in a timely, strategic manner
  • Maintain our internal research collateral library, including training and support resources
  • Ensure external research website is up to date
  • Develop product knowledge
  • Reference the literature as needed to contextualize product research publications
  • Develop or maintain deep knowledge of relevant organizations and clearinghouses focused on reviewing educational program research
  • Stay up to date on major national and state policies that impact the impact research we do (e.g. ESSA)
  • Respond rapidly to field requests, including state and district-level RFP's, customer queries, and federal or clearinghouse requests as needed.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree at minimum
  • 5+ years experience in research and technical writing or similar scope of work
  • You possess an unwavering commitment to improving the learning of all students through research-based practices, including students who are part of demographic groups that have been historically marginalized, students who receive special education services, students who are English learners, and striving students who are not yet on grade-level.
  • You are an excellent writer and have exceptional communication skills, including editing, strong storytelling and presentation skills.
  • You possess proficiency in Microsoft Suite (i.e Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • You have robust project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects, work successfully across cross-functional teams, build consensus, and see through to completion
  • You can convey complex, technical information in tangible and meaningful ways (primarily through writing but also conversationally and via presentations)
  • You have a unique understanding of educator needs and strong interest in how districts use research to inform decision making.
  • You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment
  • You are a self-starter, capable of collaborating and leading projects effectively and efficiently
  • You posses a forever-learning mindset, thriving on new and exciting challenges
  • You have prior research/technical writing and/or communications experience
  • You are familiar with education/curricula available on the marketing in reading and math
  • You are savvy about data visualization, report organization, educator needs, education market needs

Location: This position is remote but will require candidates to work EST hours.

Travel: Candidates will be expected to travel <20% of the time for this role.
