Senior Staff Accountant 

Impact you’ll have:

  • Prepare / review calculations for sales and service commission plans, as well as oversee the related accounting
  • Prepare / review royalty calculations for various types of agreements, and reconcile the related accruals
  • Oversee / Reconcile the activity associated with consignment inventory and the related relationship with the consignment warehouse
  • Reconcile various general ledger accounts, including intangible assets, accrued incentives, accrued expenses and acquisition-related accruals
  • Assist in the review of journal entries prepared by staff accountants
  • Assist in the review in various balance sheet account reconciliations, such as fixed assets, prepaid expenses, inventory, intangible assets and intercompany
  • Assist in developing and mentoring staff accountants
  • Prepare monthly account analysis as requested
  • Assist with preparation of annual audit schedules. Interact with outside auditors to support the year-end audit process

What we’re looking for:

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a record of achievement:

  • Five plus years of accounting experience at a large fast-paced multi-hundred million-dollar company [Candidates without this experience will be rejected]
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Ability to perform multiple activities simultaneously
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications
  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
